“Arcane” means secret. In all the publications in this series is difficult to stay out of the hidden meaning of each card. It seems all of them introduce us to some mystery that is veiled behind images and this is deepen even more in number 18.
No matter the deck we choose, fertility is a topic across this card but each deck approaches the topic from different angles. In the Aquarian deck, the moon wanes to leave space for a new being that will come. Part of itself declines to favour what will come, part of itself expresses what will raise. It´s its own silent transformation, in uterus darkness, what completes it and turns it full.
In the Egyptian and Marseille decks, fertility such as we just thought about it had already deeply declined. This means there´s a little left to sow, that it´s not a time for setting expectations or dedicating big efforts.
Things followed their course through time and today we find the results and the effects of our performance.
It´s not about sterility but a declination …until a call emerges, an echo and harmony tending to awaken again the life that seems don´t want to return and express itself. Strangely, the same that had depleted it as such is what invokes it. It´s like looking for whom we left behind after our whereabouts.
The Marseille card brings another fact about this curiosity. What we had reached, achieved, built or created, needs fuel to keep alive, subsist, stay and continue being in its own nature. That´s why
Sun ~ Moon
There´s an invisible thread that cannot be forgotten, a kind of umbilical cord that feeds even from far. Some say to look back to recognize it, others to look at it as a kind of a channel in which sensations and emotions go through, some dire, some pleasant. It´s a returning, a regressive movement that acquires a lot of forms. From that initial point, what we´ve developed then will still be, as when a seed receives heat.
